The Music Production Club is an initiative aimed at students living in areas with difficult access to Information Technology tools. During three weeks, the students lived an artistic experience; where through the learning of simple techniques of musical production, they activate soft skills and mathematical thinking; allowing them to obtain tools to solve daily and technological problems of today's world.

In Quibdó, in the Comuna Seis neighborhood of Montebello, where the Pies Descalzos Foundation operates, a group of children took advantage of the company of Diego Romero, creator of the Music Production Club Project.

During the training process, the main protagonists were the students, who elaborated musical tracks; together they wrote the lyrics of a song entitled "Yo Quiero" (I Want).

The lyrics of this song arose from an exercise in which the students thought about valuable things; places where they feel better, and finally a reflection on what they would do to take care of those things mentioned.

The music classes were a space in which students learned to use technology as a tool for creation; in addition to recognizing that they can be used beyond gaming and video consumption.

We thank Diego Romero for bringing his musical project to the children of Pies Descalzos, and in this way contribute to Quality Education for them. For more information about the project you can follow them on facebook @clubdeproduccionmusical.
