Education in Colombia:
Transforming Challenges
in Opportunities

In Colombia, millions of children and young people dream of a bright future. Education is the way to achieve it, and together we can make a difference.

But the road
has obstacles
Of the 9.5 million children and adolescents enrolled in schools, 7.6 million study in official schools*. And only 4 out of 10 graduate.

As a result, we have supported more than 224,000 children and young people, 55% of whom are women.
We have trained 12,824 teachers, with 85% of them women leading in the classroom.
We also work with 1,131 families and caregivers, where 80% are women who support the growth of the students.

With projects that close the gap and build a path towards inclusive and equitable education.
The results inspire us

1,400 graduates in Barranquilla, Cartagena and Quibdó. Their stories are proof that change is possible.
