Dear community: We regret to inform you that the official Facebook page of the Barefoot Foundation was hacked. This incident forces us to take immediate action to protect the integrity of our online community.

For this reason, we would like to make an urgent appeal to all our supporters and sympathizers:

  1. Stop interacting on the affected page: We have detected suspicious activity on our Facebook page that does not correspond to the mission and values of the Barefoot Foundation. Therefore, we ask you to avoid any interaction on that page until we can fully resolve this situation.
  2. Currently, the Foundation is not conducting any fundraising campaign. We want to make it emphatically clear that, due to the hacking of our website, any fundraising campaign that may appear on it is not authorized by the Barefoot Foundation. We ask that you do not contribute or provide personal or financial information to any such campaign on the affected page.
