Paco Arango, director of the film "Lo Que De Verdad Importa", gave us an example of immense solidarity, donating the resources raised by his film to three foundations in Colombia: Sanar Cáncer, Ellen Riegner and ours: Pies Descalzos.
Thanks to him and to the more than 600,000 people who have gone to see Lo Que De Verdad Importa that we will build a real transformation in the lives of thousands of children in Colombia. With each movie ticket you are supporting spaces, opportunities and dignified processes in education and health for Colombian children, those children who live the consequences of poverty in our country, a country that belongs to everyone.
In Pies Descalzos we know that education is a fundamental right for all children and young people in the country, that is why we will invest the resources donated by Paco Arango to support the education of nearly 1,000 children in situations of poverty and vulnerability in the city of Cartagena. We also know that, as our founder says, education is the opportunity that makes us all equal, and that is why the more support we raise, the more children will have access to equal opportunities.
Today we invite you again to join us in spreading this message so that more people across the country join this cause and we can deliver 1 '000,000 smiles to children who need quality public education and decent health processes in the treatment of diseases such as cancer.
