We present the impact made throughout the year in the country, where we accompanied more than 30,000 children in 6 territories.

The organization also accompanied more than 2,000 teachers and families on issues of effective educational practices, innovation in the classroom, and entrepreneurship, among others, in addition to delivering three educational institutions; two in the department of La Guajira and one in the city of Barranquilla, which will contribute to the education of 2,500 students each year.

The Foundation accompanies not only the schools it has delivered since 2008, but also other educational institutions in which it implements the eight educational projects it has developed to strengthen the skills of students in Colombia.

For their part, the Pies Descalzos educational institutions in Barranquilla and Cartagena graduated 145 students, most of whom continued their studies in tertiary education. "We are proud of each graduate; to see that they continued their studies to obtain better opportunities in their life projects and those of their families. Each student is proof of the work we have done for more than 15 years in the schools of Barranquilla and Cartagena, where now more than 80% continue their studies to build a better present and future," says Patricia Sierra, executive director of the Foundation.

Finally, the organization relies on national and international allies for the execution of its projects and who believe in the Foundation's mission to provide educational quality through effective educational practices and school infrastructure.

These numbers reflect that the actions carried out by the Foundation to address the educational needs of children and young people in vulnerable situations in Colombia are relevant and have shown significant progress for the educational opportunities of new generations.
