During the World Innovation Summit for Education - WISE, in Doha, Qatar, the Barefoot Foundation presented its Todos al Cole project, which is carried out in conjunction with the Education Above All Foundation, in addition to joining in the commemoration of the partner Foundation's 10th anniversary.

During the two-day event, the project participated in the panel Re-Ignite action to transform the lives of those left behind (Spanish), and had a special stand where the actions developed in La Guajira, one of the departments with the greatest challenges in terms of access and permanence in school, were presented.

The project, which seeks to contribute to the access and permanence in school of more than 60,000 primary school children in the country, has built 6 educational centers in the department of La Guajira and has helped more than 5,500 girls and boys to enter and remain in school.

In this edition, Vanessa Pacheco, project alliances professional in the city of Barranquilla, was the spokesperson for the Foundation in Doha, highlighting the work done throughout these three years not only for the students accompanied but also for the communities impacted in the territories. "From the Foundation we understand the importance of working together with the communities; in addition to accompanying them, we also require their willingness to work with us to build social fabric and improve the quality of Education in Colombia. This is the only way we can generate real change and leave a mark on the power of education," he said in his speech.
