The "Tools for Life" axis present in our intervention model is fundamental for the optimal development and achievement of a Quality Public Education.

In partnership with the La Caixa Foundation, the Pies Descalzos Foundation presented the "Young Entrepreneurs" project, which seeks to provide young people in Barranquilla, Cartagena and Chocó with the basic tools for critical thinking and entrepreneurship.

There are 394 students between the ages of 13 and 17, who have received training in entrepreneurship, as well as in strategies to provide a creative and innovative solution to a problem in their social context. Our students have developed ideal solutions and shaped a proposal to improve people's quality of life.

Once the training is completed, the students must propose socially responsible projects and, with them, they will participate in the Desafío Challenge in Barcelona, an exchange and training experience with young people from different countries.

As part of the project, we were visited by 4 volunteers from La Caixa, who have shared with children from Cartagena and Barranquilla, implementing the strategy "Young Entrepreneurs with the students of Colombia, who shaped ideal solutions and gave shape to a proposal to improve the quality of life of people.

We would like to thank La Obra Social La Caixa, for involving us in this project and for making the entrepreneurial spirit of the students grow.
