It is for this reason that fostering the development of communicative processes, while promoting a sense of belonging to the region, is a practice that we have forged with the "Storytellers" project. "Storytellers."‍

The project has gained great relevance in the Pies Descalzos - Lomas del Peyé school, summoning a significant group of students, who are immersed in the world of communication from its different expressions. Thus, this space is a pretext to tell stories of their neighborhood, whether oral, written or visual.

This year 40 new students joined the project, and in order to increase the motivation of this group, a Creative Writing Workshop was held with them.

The young people who received the workshop discovered that imagination and writing can go hand in hand, becoming a significant learning process; thus building communicative processes that can serve them in their academic and professional future.

The final project of the 2016 Storytellers became tangible through a digital space where students published their texts, stories and photographs. Having the opportunity to publish their writings in this space becomes a motivation for our 2017 storytellers.

Finally, we would like to thank ARTICASE and Fundación Santa Rita para la Educación y la Promoción (FUNSAREP), with whom we teamed up to achieve the optimal development of the activity.
