Creando Juntos seeks the promotion and incorporation of new methodologies to strengthen the role of the teacher in the classroom, while enhancing the development of 21st century competencies.

The Barefoot Foundation and CAF - Development Bank of Latin Americatogether with the Secretaries of Education of Barranquilla and Cartagena consolidated an alliance to expand the 'Creating Together' project. The beneficiaries will be 20 educational institutions and more than 18,000 students and 400 teachers in the classroom.

With this project, FPD will impact more than 18,000 students.

'Creating Together' seeks to increase students' motivation towards learning.

For this expansion, the project was launched with the participation of rectors, coordinators and teachers from the educational community of each city with the objective of gaining knowledge about the validity of Project Based Learning (PBL) as well as its relevance in the classroom.

Carolina España, CAF's representative in Colombia, stated that "improving education systems and promoting inclusive quality education is key for Colombia to ensure a good socioeconomic future. For this reason, CAF is proud to launch this alliance with Pies Descalzos, which will have a direct social impact in the short, medium and long term".

Creando Juntos is a project developed as part of the educational initiatives for children and adolescents in vulnerable conditions, as well as for teachers and the educational community that works daily to provide quality public education in the country.
