For the 2017 edition, we were awarded the "Nôus Trayectoria de Vida" (Lifetime Achievement Award). Our Executive Director, Patricia Sierra, received this important award on behalf of the Barefoot Foundation.

The award ceremony of the Educational Excellence Contest was attended by close to a thousand guests, including state authorities, ambassadors, diplomatic corps and teachers. The event took place on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, in the city of Quito.

"The Noûs Lifetime Achievement Award went to national and international personalities who have made history for their contribution to the social, cultural and educational improvement of the people."
