The commitment of the Pies Descalzos Foundation with the formal quality public education in Colombia and supporting educational institutions is reflected in different areas of action, ranging from funding programs and infrastructure construction to ensure children and young people fulfilling their curricular activities, training of teachers and administrators with innovative methodologies to improve the quality of education and strengthening of policies and educational efforts.

Thanks to the constant interactions and guidelines between the Secretariats of the Educational District and the Secretariats of Health, Culture and Social Development, Universities, public and private donors and national and international volunteers, children and young people who help broaden their education in other dimensions such as citizenship education, allowing them to become better human beings committed to the future of their country.
