WHAT WE DO

What We Do

The Barefoot Foundation helps all children exercise their basic right to an education, paving the way for their growth and development in society. We focus on the most vulnerable children; boys and girls whose lives have been disrupted by poverty and e educate policy makers about the importance of universal education.

Currently, we support the Pies Descalzos Foundation and their programs. These mutually reinforcing programs tackle the unique challenges of helping Colombian families affected by violence and poverty. The Pies Descalzos Foundation believes that children cannot achieve their potential without full stomachs and emotional support as part of a quality education.
